Wardens

NORMALLY when we write about traffic wardens, it is usually to complain about them.

But I am writing to express my sincere thanks to two traffic wardens named Clive Sullivan (T W 606) and Dawn Davies (T W 567).

I am the owner of a shop in Holton Road and recently my manager was in a dilemma when her daughter was involved in an incident in school.

This resulted in her having to be taken to the University Hospital of Wales. She asked the driver of the ambulance to take her to her mother who was in work so she could go with her to hospital.

This they did as unfortunately I wasn't able to be contacted to go the shop to relieve her allowing her to go with her daughter.

This is where the above named traffic wardens acted on their own initiative and stepped in to help.

They offered to look after my shop to allow my manager to go with her daughter to hospital until I was able to be contacted.

Once again I would like to extend my thanks to them both.
