From daffodils to dragons

BARRY schools decked themselves out in their full patriotic finery last week, as they celebrated St David's Day.

Competitions were run for the eisteddfod and the day was filled with fun and Welsh activities

From infants to junior classes, there was a fabulous array of costumes, from the traditional outfits to daffodils in pots and even a couple of dragons.

Here are just a few of the lovely liveries on show, with more to come next week.

Full colour prints of all the photographs on these pages are available to buy. Prices start at £6. Just call in to the Barry and District News, 156, Holton Road, bet-ween 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Traditional dress was adorned by all who celebrated the yearly feast of St David's Day

More St David's pictures can be found in next week's Barry and District News.
