Speed sign obscured

AMAZINGLY enough, heading into Bonvilston in an Easterly direction, there is a speed limit of 40mph.

Whether this is low enough can be debated in the future, but whatever the limit the sign telling motorists is, the sign is shrouded by overgrowth.

This prevents the driver knowing there is a speed limit at all. The road along this stretch can be treacherous at times, and I now think twice before taking my children to the village shop.

It is the Vale of Glamorgan Council's responsibility in the first instance to maintain the hedge line at Bonvilston along the A48 stretch.

I do hope the authority can cut back the overgrowth, so at least drivers can slow down when passing through Bonvilston.
