Air report

I saw an article in the Barry and District News, December 18 issue, concerning passengers stopped at Cardiff International Airport.

Included in the report was information about how many cigarettes you can legally carry into the country. I would like to clarify, for any readers interested, that the figure of 3,200 per person, as reported, is correct from a European Union flight, for example Malaga or Palma.

But if you fly in on a non-EU destination, like Teneriffe or Los Palmas, then you are only permitted to carry only 200. I hope this helps anyone planning a non-European holiday.
