THE VALE of Glamorgan Council sports development unit has netted another winner with one of its regular soccer initiatives for the area's local youngsters.
Open to both boys and girls, aged five to seven, the fun course concluded with a presentation of certificates and water bottles from Vale cabinet member (economic development and leisure) Cllr Michael Harvey.
Run by the Vale council football development team in conjunction with the Football Association of Wales Trust, the course covered basic football skills and a series of fun matches.
Cllr Harvey said: "The football fun centre has been a great success and it's fantastic to see young people enjoying sport in the Vale."
Further information on football development initiatives in the area can be obtained from Ryland Morgans on 01446 704729.
