CD review School Reunion 1980s

COMPILATION albums are fantastic and when you have three discs to choose from, you're bound to be spoilt rotten.

So you need to look no further than School Reunion 80s.

Crammed full of pop-tastic hits from 20 years ago, there are 60 old favourites.

There can be no surprises on an album that is compiled from hits of the past, but you're not going to buy this CD for its shock value. You're going to get it to bring back all the memories of the best days of your lives.

This album, which includes huge successes like Queen, Tina Turner and James Brown to the 80s exclusives like Bros, Mel and Kim and Toni Basil, is bound to jerk some long lost recollections.

If you regularly listen to music while filing in your tax returns, sorting out your bills or just organising your household post, this CD could be a bit of a jolt.

If you put this on in the background while you have pen and paper in your hand, it's almost guaranteed you'll feel like you're back in the classroom doing lines for chewing gum.

All in all, this is a fantastic collaboration of funky 80s pop. While some readers who remember the 80s a little better than others may mourn the exclusion of some of their favourite tracks, there is bound to be a handful on here that will do the trick.
