Unit closure

The Vale of Glamorgan Constituency Labour Party is appalled at the threatened closure of the maternity unit at Llandough Hospital.

It calls upon members of the Cardiff & Vale NHS Hospital Trust to cancel any proposals they have for such a closure, and asks that they issue a public statement reassuring future mothers in the Vale of Glamorgan that full maternity services will continue to be provided at Llandough Hospital.
