After winning the world junior title last year Mark Palfrey added the British Senior Black Belt title in Korean kata to his collection. Sparring then took centre stage and there were more medals with Frankie McGill taking third place in points sparring, Ashley Coles took second and third place in points and continuous sparring. Mark Palfrey also took a second place in the men's points sparring - 60kg.

Tom Farmer was back on the mat to pick up the -125cm points sparring British title to add to his kata title.

Danny Ryan was next to lift a British title winning his points sparring group in fine style.

The British Championships were the last event of a 12-event overall championships which saw Mark Palfrey win the overall Welsh and British titles and Danny Ryan winning the English and British overall titles.
