THE VALE of Glamorgan Council's leisure division has unveiled two new artificial sports pitches at Barry's Holm View Centre.
Officially opened by Vale council leader Cllr Jeffrey James and Neil Pemberton, from the Sports Council for Wales, the council project was supported by Sportlot funding.
Cllr James said: "This is a fantastic facility for the Vale of Glamorgan and we hope it will be well used by the young people in the area. The council is always looking to implement projects which will enhance its quality community facilities."
The artificial pitches are available to hire, and further information can be obtained from Darren Phillips on (01446) 700258.
