Do write

CARIBBEAN Write Lines is an organisation set up to support prisoners on death row in the Caribbean with a network of penfriends.

We also support those prisoners whose death sentences were commuted to life under the Privy Council's Pratt and Morgan ruling.

The conditions under which these men and women are kept are very primitive and legal representation is sketchy.

Many prisoners have lost touch with their families and often letters from penfriends are the only contact that they have with the outside world.

Simple human contact, even in the form of letters, can provide a valuable lifeline for these prisoners and strong friendships can develop as a result.

If any of your readers would like to be a penfriend of one of these prisoners, please write for further information to: The Co-ordinator, 18 High Street, Tittleshall, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, PE32 2PJ.
