I wrote to you on September 30 asking you to convey our thanks to the library staff in Barry for their help with our research of the Parish family.

Thank you so much for publishing the letter and also the two photographs. I have received two letters in connection with the letter published, one from a lady living in Barry who believes one of the pictures to show her grandfather.

The other was a very informative letter about the occupations of Samuel Parish and some of his children in the early part of the last century.

I hope that my relation in Australia may be able to get back the gentleman who gave us this information with some of the photographic records he is looking for.

Thank you again. I am still awaiting a response from our relation in Australia but I am sure she would also like to convey her thanks to you.
