Rangers grateful for cash from Community Chest

ROMILLY Rangers Under-8s football team was set up in May by Mr Martyn Young, Mr Andrew Townsend, Mr Mike Hopgood and Mr Leigh Cogbill, with the help of Mr Paul Nanji, Vale Sports Development Officer.

The team is currently celebrating a windfall of £750 from The Community Chest Scheme, which is set up by The Sports Council of Wales.

A spokesman for the club said: "We would like to thank Mr Anthony Colton, Manager of Unipart Motor Parts, who kindly donated money for a new football kit, and also Legal and General Assurance Society and Cabot Carbons for their kind donations."

All the monies received have helped the team buy the necessary equipment for the running of a junior football team.
