Sheila steers county to victory

BRYNHILL Golf Club member Sheila Williams is pictured with the victorious Glamorgan Team after they had comprehensively beaten Somerset at the recent Divisional Tie played at Glamorganshire Golf club.

As a result of that win the Glamorgan team now compete in the England and Wales county finals to be played at Hendon Golf Club from September 3-5.

As county captain Sheila is hoping to return with the Mrs T H Miller Trophy which would be held at her home club.

The team will be Sarah Morgan MA, Sarah Jones P, Anna, Highgate CP, Kate Phillips C, Vicki Thomas, Pennard, Lucy Gould, Bargoed, Pam Clugg Whit, and Sahra Hassan, Voga.
