Partnership bodes well for soccer future at Villa

"THE PRESENTATION was an excellent display of how Barry Villa treats its' young players.

"Nearly all the players received an award and the support for the club was evident from the smiles and grins on the children's faces, not to mention the amount of families and friends who were there to witness their achievements over the past season," says Sy Joshua, Youth Development Officer Area41.

THE AREA41 AND BARRY VILLA U15 PARTNERSHIP

Youth Development Officer Sy Joshua has been in numerous discussions with the club, to the point where Area41, a new media youth facility in Holton Road has offered their support.

Area41 and Barry Villa will incorporate the U15's side into a new youth football programme.

"The dedication of volunteers at this club has been evident throughout our discussions.

Their positive work with young people, community involvement and high aspirations has led to innovative ideas being shared.

We are offering training to the coaches, assistance with transport and kit.

Barry Villa U15 side will have access to the latest media football IT technology which allows them to analyse matches and co-ordinate set pieces just like the Premiership sides.

We have noticed that squad members already use Area41 and also attend Vibe events. It seems that it is natural progression."
