I HAVE just seen the rough outline sketch for the proposed development on the Waters Edge site.

It is quite hideous and by the size of it, the whole area will be swamped.

The flats on the Bindles site have already spoilt the area with their ghastly, corrugated type roofs, which do not even match the red coloured roofs of the properties in Heol-y-Gaer and Maes-y-Coed.

What was once a lovely area of natural beauty, has become a concrete jungle. If the proposed development of Waters Edge site is allowed to go ahead, it will start to look like a lunar landscape.

Nells Point has already been ruined by mass development.

Do we Barrians want this to happen at the Knap?

The answer should be 'No'; this is supposed to be a Marine Conservation area.
