Pub boycott

People are drawn to the sea side and most of us just like to spend quality time out of doors.

And yet we are unable to visit Swanbridge unless we swell the coffers of the Captain's Wife.

I am unable to visit the two other venues on the sea front because I am unable to walk the distance down the lane

It was only last year that the Captain's Wife incited anger in people of the Vale by charging to park in the summer months.

The case was taken up by a councillor in Sully but they continue the practice this year. Although as most people are aware, you become exempt if you spend money in the pub. I have eaten at the Captain's Wife during the winter months but I have now made a decision to boycott the pub winter and summer.

The only thing I can do is protest and hit them where it hurts, in the pocket.
