BARRY Town Football Club's high-profile chairman is on his way home after just missing out on the being crowned 'King of the Jungle.'

John Fashanu came second in the ITV hit reality TV show, 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.' Former England cricket star Phil Tufnell took the top spot.

His incredible journey in the Australian jungle, which started on MondayApril 28, has been watched by millions of viewers.

Fans saw 'Fash the Bash' complete an amazing five Bush Tucker trials and fight off seven other contestants, leaving him with Linda Barker and Phil Tufnell on the last day.

On Monday night he had to face one more challenge - his part in earning the three remaining celebrities a slap-up meal.

But it wasn't enough to give him the crown. Game-for-a-laugh Phil Tufnell took the lion's share of the votes.
