Heartless

ON Wednesday evening May 7, somebody drove over a small tortoiseshell cat on Winston Road and drove off without bothering to check whether she was alright.

This was witnessed by a number of Colcot boys.

Unfortunately, she was dead and this driver's action not only left a family of cat lovers devastated but also her new newborn kitten crying with hunger.

I know the law says that it's only dogs you stop for but anyone with any feelings would have stopped, wouldn't they?
