Voting right

ON MAY 1, the people of Wales will be able to decide who politically governs the country for the next four years.

Whoever you support, Labour for the NHS, Plaid Cymru for independence, or the Conservatives for tax cuts the choice is up to you.

But it is important that you get out in the interests of democracy and exercise your right to vote.

The Assembly was created to put power in the hands of its people, so we must make sure that we use it to our advantage by creating a more self representing nation.

I would urge everyone to go out and vote for the party of your choice so that the Assembly can be given a proper mandate on behalf of its people.

Don't forget that you have two votes - you will be given two voting papers on the day one for your constituency and the other for your region.

You do not have to vote for the same party twice, but it gives you two opportunities to vote for the party of your choice! Whatever it's up to you.

So don't forget to vote - help set the agenda for Wales's future!
