MAY I through your newspaper thank the 'lovely man,' who found my Golden Retriever wandering lost on the Waterfront and returned her to our home on Thursday.

She had been badly frightened the previous evening while my son was walking her and had run off. We searched most of the night and next day but to no avail.

The gentleman concerned would not leave a name when we spoke on the phone but he will know who he is.

It is a comforting thought that in these days when people are so 'busy' with their own everyday lives there are still some who will take time out to help others.

He has made my three sons very happy as 'Megan' is much loved especially by my middle son Ryan who would have pined terribly had she not been returned to us.

So whoever you are nice man, 'thank you very much.'
