War lies

I AM amazed, after three days of showing a small number of Iraqi prisoners of War, men that had their hands clasped together with plastic ties, face down in the mud which is inhuman and degrading, that the coalition forces claimed that the Iraqi were breaking the Geneva convention, when US soldiers were shown on TV.

The US soldiers although injured in action, seemed to be in comfort, well treated and cared for.

So why did Tony Blair and George Bush object?

Aren't these all double standards?

After all, whenever the Iraqi army said they had captured soldiers, the West did not believe them and denied that anyone had been taken.

The only thing the Iraqi army could do, was to show them on TV as proof, even then some politicians didn't believe the media.

This war is full of lies in the media, and propaganda is rife.

So often in the first week allies were saying they had captured towns when they had not.

Let's start telling the truth.
