Speeding

EIGHTEEN months ago I went to one of those so called council meetings, at the YMCA in Court Road Barry. There were four councillors on duty.

I expressed my feelings on vehicles speeding up and down Holton Road Weston Hill.

Thirty mph is a joke the average speed night and day is nearer 45mph, some do 60 to 65mph.

If nothing is done about it soon someone is going to get killed, there had been a few accidents plus three hit and run, its becoming a very fast road with a lot of traffic, so lets have speed cameras on the road.

To me councillors are a waste of taxpayers money.

We pay them to listen to our suggestions and hope they will try and put them to the appropriate authority.

I have been waiting 18 months for them to reply. A ten pence telephone call or a letter would have been appreciated.
