Llantwit Major B 0 Sully Sharks 1
THE SHARKS at last secured their first away win of the season with a hard earned victory against a determined Llantwit team looking to avenge their early season reverse at BP, Sully.
Playing in their new CIS Insurance sponsored kit they eventually got the result their effort and endeavour deserved.
After just two minutes the Sharks had already shown their attacking intent, going close twice with Obie (Luke) Dwyer hitting the post from outside the area and Shannon Horrigan finding the side netting.
The winning goal came midway through the first half with Simon McKinley chipping the keeper after good play down the right by Andrew Sims and the hard working James Brookman.
The second half was end to end stuff, with both teams having good goal scoring opportunities.
The Sharks almost made sure of the win when Shannon Horrigan burst through midfield only to force a good save from the excellent Llantwit keeper.
Sully eventually held on for their second win of the season thanks to good defending by man of the match, Matthew Brookman, his partner in crime, Lloyd Woodham and the ever reliable James Cattle in goal.
