Reuben gets some top tips from Tim

A YOUNG Barry boy won the chance of a lifetime to visit one of the most famous tennis venues and get coached by none other than Tim Henman.

Ten-year-old Reuben Mulhern won the South Wales Under-10 Robinson Tennis Challenge in September.

The Danvic Close resident's prize was an invitation to Wimbledon for a whole day, plus coaching from the top names in the sport.

Around 40 young boys and girls arrived in London on October 2 and were given a guided tour around the grounds, including the world acclaimed Centre Court.

Then they were put through their paces, with rigorous training from a fitness expert, and a full day of top tips and coaching from Tim Henman and the British Number 8 Hannah Collins.

To put the icing on the cake, at the end of the day two tennis rackets signed by Tim Henman were presented to a boy and girl who were judged to be the star players of the day, and Reuben was the voted the best boy.
