Wildcats show their teeth

BARRY Wildcats Lacrosse Club played three matches in a tournament held at Jenner Park on Sunday, November 24.

They lost their opening game to Cardiff 3-8 and then went on to beat Newport in a close fought game 6-4 before drawing the final match 3-3 with a combined Swansea/Llanelli team.

Barry are now second in the Welsh mixed U-14 league.

Barry Wildcats were formed this year and meet once a week on a Friday at the Colcot Centre.

If any girls or boys up to the age of 14 want to have a go at playing this great game, please ask your parents to contact Dave Jones on 029 2051 2901.

Lacrosse in Wales is supported by the Sports Council for Wales and Sportsmatch.
