Ban hunts

SO the government will attempt to ban hunting with hounds once again in the next session of Parliament.

I hope that this will now be the end to a cruel and barbaric blood sport.

There must be a total ban and no half measures - there can be no compromise on cruelty!

The government must put an end to the pain and suffering inflicted on poor defenceless animals, which others claim to be for fun.

I have had enough of the pro-hunt groups trying to pull the wool over our eyes with nonsense.

For the NFU to also claim that hunting is a form of pest control is, I feel, absolute nonsense.

During the foot and mouth crisis there was a temporary ban on hunting and fox numbers remained the same.

How can a large pack of hounds and people on horses chasing one fox be fair and humane?

There is only one predator on this earth and that is mankind. Why can't we leave nature alone?
