CAB enquiry

IN RESPONSE to the letter in the Barry & District recently asking about our CAB, I also am wondering what has happened.

A couple of years ago, I had need of the CAB and was given some very good advice. I am very disappointed to hear that the very experienced voluntary advisers have left.

We need people of all ages and experience in the CAB.

When the CAB reopens, will the new staff be able to give the excellent service, we who've used the bureau have become used to?

Or will they be youngsters who'll need training, which means the bureau won't function like it used?

There's an old saying: "If it ain't broke, why fix it?"
