Ballet joy

MAY I, and my friends, extend congratulations and thanks to the Moscow State Ballet on the superb production and stunning performances in Swan Lake at the Memorial Hall Theatre last Saturday.

We are grateful to Barry Town Council, and the Memorial Hall management and staff, not only for securing this event, but also for all the work they put into ensuring it was a memorable evening.

The enthusiasm and the appreciative applause of the very large audience were a joy to behold ...a very real antidote to the apathy and negativity of which we hear so much these days.

There are rumours that Moscow State Ballet will return in March 2003 - we'll be first in line for tickets.
