The facts?

ONCE again cllr Chris Franks has got his facts wrong (Concern for residents, page 7, October 31).

The closure of the Waters Edge residential home at the Knap, had nothing to do with the Assembly or government rulings. It was sold for a large sum of money for developers to build flats.

If he was so concerned, then where was he when we were struggling to find alternative accommodation for our loved ones.

The public services were very slow in helping us. My husband was rehoused with only two days left before the closure, which caused us a lot of heartache.

The only person to help me was Jane Hutt, and I understand she helped a number of us having difficulties.
