Policeman denies assault

BARRY policeman Mark Hobrough has appeared before Cardiff magistrates, accused of indecent assault on a women police officer.

The 30-year-old sergeant, husband of millionaire Survivor TV series winner Charlotte, denied the charge.

He appeared at court four months after the alleged incident at a police inspector's leaving party at the Life bar in Cardiff city centre.

Hobrough, dressed in a navy blue suit and light blue shirt and tie, spoke to confirm his name and address.

He pleaded not guilty to indecent assault on June 20 and elected trial at Cardiff crown court.

Hobrough, who was based at Barry police station, was freed on unconditional bail until December 19 when he will appear before the crown court
