CD review

THE 'ROLLING Stones' have released a definitive collection of songs on one massive double CD.

Forty Licks, with their distinctive lips and tongue design splashed on the front cover, holds every rocking track Stones fans could want.

Through their illustrious career they have recorded hundreds of songs and there are bound to be favourites missed off this album, but all the popular ones are there.

From the haunting Angie to the hugely famous (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, the dark Paint It, Black to the up beat Honky Tonk Woman this is a wicked buy for people who sing along to the Stones but have never managed to find an album with all the tracks they like.

Forty Licks came straight into the Woolworths chart and took its place at number one. And with a following that stretches three decades, there's no need to question why. Love them or loathe them, there must be something about this band that has kept them on the scene since the 60s.

On the unlikely chance you've never heard of the Rolling Stones, buy this CD and discover them in the best way possible.
