MILLIONAIRE Survivor winner Charlotte Hobrough has vowed to stand by her policeman husband who is accused of indecent assault.
The former copper, who used to walk the beat in Barry, says she will support Mark, who has been suspended from his job following an incident in a Cardiff nightclub.
It was revealed this week that the sergeant has been under investigation for three months since he allegedly groped a woman constable at a police drinks party.
The 30-year-old, based at Barry Police Station, was removed from duty after statements were taken from both officers and nightclub staff.
But Charlotte, who was dubbed a 'harlot' after an alleged fling during her time on the TV survival programme, says she will stand by her man.
Speaking at the couple's luxury £400,000 home in Sully, the 26- year-old said: "I've known about this for three months and it's been a difficult time.
"But I trust Mark and I know he wouldn't do anything like that.
"I feel very angry about the whole business but I cannot say too much while the complaint is still being investigated."
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is now studying a file of evidence compiled by the South Wales force.
Mark was at an inspector's leaving party at the trendy Life bar in Cardiff city centre when he was accused of groping the breast of a woman officer. He was put in a taxi by colleagues and started official leave the next day.
But while he was on a dream holiday in the Maldives with his wife, it is understood the woman officer lodged an official complaint.
Charlotte, who met her husband when she was a serving police officer, is no stranger to controversy.
She publicly pledged to patch up her marriage after it was claimed that she and fellow contestant, Adrian Bauckham, enjoyed steamy sex sessions on the paradise island of Pulau Tiga where Survivor was filmed.
Mark stood by Charlotte after the show, and now Charlotte, and her close knit family, are standing by her husband.
Her mum, Maureen Andrews, said: "Mark is a lovely, wonderful young man. We don't think there is any truth in it whatsoever - it's been said because of who he is.
"The whole family is standing by him and supporting him." Det Chief Supt, John Adsley said: "Following advice from the CPS a 30-year-old police sergeant has been suspended for the offence of indecent assault."
