Invaluable placement

I AM writing to once again express my gratitude for being allowed to undergo a two-week work experience placement at the Barry and District News.

During my stay I was able to enjoy "hands-on" experience of the working environment in a newspaper editorial office.

I also gained some invaluable skills and got to work as part of a team.

I will record my placement at the newspaper in my CV. I am also sure that the experience I gained will serve me well in the future as I enter the world of work.

I had lots of favourable comments about the article I was tasked with writing for the newspaper, and I would like to thank you for giving me that opportunity.

I hope to be involved with The News again one day.
