CD review

THIS COMPILATION album says it all in the title, Songs To Make You Feel Good. What more is there to say?

From the very first track, soul god James Brown makes you smile with I Got You (I Feel Good). Then you get treated to old favourites from Wham! singing Freedom and the M People Moving On Up.

CD One of the double album has quite a few old classics, such as The Mamas and The Papas with California Dreamin', and Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl, but also includes Toploader and Oasis.

The second CD is hugely up-beat with dance tracks like X-Press 2's Lazy, and Daniel Bedingfield's Gotta Get Thru This.

There are also tracks from Bob Marley vs Funkstar De Luxe with The Sun Is Shining, and Phats and Small featuring Toney Lee with Turn Around.

The album's bright yellow colour is mindful of a popular brand of painkiller, and it's almost guaranteed that if you take two of these, you'll feel better in the morning.
