Characters come alive for this term

MUMMIES come alive, a film unit finds leopards in Africa, waxworks talk, Holmes and Watson solve a mystery, and many other characters come alive in the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy curriculum this term.

Next term 12,000 children in 40 branches of the Academy in the UK, and many thousands more worldwide, will explore the dynamic drama programme designed to encourage confidence, self-esteem and excellent communication skills. Above all, the classes are great fun.

The classes average 12-16 children, with a dedicated, teacher who cares about individual development.

Each term, a short presentation is held for parents so that they can see the children's progress, and children receive certificates for their achievements.

The work is offered at three levels: Lower Primary activities for 5 to 8-year-olds, Upper Primary classes for 8 to11-year-olds, and Youth Theatre for secondary school students.
