Cruel blow

I would like to know how people can be so cruel.

My son died last year, aged seven days, and is buried at Barry Cemetery.

Like all parents I wanted to buy a toy to place on his grave so I bought some dinky cars and a teddy bear and placed them on his headstone.

Within a few weeks they had been stolen. So I replaced them and made sure they couldn't be blown away or moved without actually picking them up.

These too were stolen. Although it doesn't seem like very much, they meant a lot to me as it was my way of doing something for my son.

The staff at the cemetery have been fantastic but they can't be everywhere at once. So please, when visiting loved ones at the cemetery keep a look out. One day it may be something of yours they take. And when visiting with little ones, don't allow them to wander all over the graves and move things. They are only children and don't know any different, but you do.
