Clean sweep for Romilly to win shield

CONGRATULATIONS to Barry Romilly BC A Team, on winning the South Vale B Association Shield. It was presented by Stan Rogers, Treasurer of the above mention Association.

This trophy is played over five matches, in which the winners' won all their games. Players involved in the photograph: Jim Toozer (captain) W Hewitt, I Michael, G Wilson, J Dobbs, B Hobbs, C Davies, H Wilkes, D L Baker, A Woolcock, P Hoad, G Worrall, R Jones, L Richards, W Griffiths (Vice-Captain), R White, G Whittaker.

Missing from photo: A Webb, D Price, V McFarland, W James, D Davies, G Cogbill, K Clements.

The team also won the Cardiff and District ML6 Division as champions. This means they have gained promotion to division 5 next season , well done and keep the flag flying. Congratulations to Cadoxton BC A team for finishing as runner up in the same League.
