MARK WAHLBERG (Planet of the Apes) stars next to Jennifer Aniston in the story of devoted fan chosen to be front man of his all-time favourite rock band.

It's the 1980's and Chris Cole (Walhberg) knows every move, every look and every word that comes from Bobby Beers, lead singer with the Steel Dragons.

When Chris is kicked out of his own band he thinks his world will end. Until a surprise call plucks him out of small-town America and lands him squarely in the music-scene limelight. The story follows Chris as he tries to figure out what he wants.

On one hand he's got a sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle. On the other, he's losing the love of his life Emily (Aniston) and his grip on reality.

While some critics attacked the ex-Friends star for being nothing but Rachel, the attractive actress plays her role well in this film.
