TWO life-long Barry friends have got together to realise a life-long ambition - the opening of their own restaurant.
And to celebrate the occasion, Copperfields owners Paula Harvey and Louise Edwards have teamed up with the Barry and District News.
The duo are offering readers a free family sized Sunday lunch.
The girls, who met over thirty years ago, told the News how they realised their ambition. Former Barry library worker Paula said: "Louise and I have always been mates. And over the years we've talked about owning our own business."
Louise added: "Copperfields came on the market three years ago but was too expensive. When it came up again in January, we jumped at it."
The pair have now given the licensed High Street restaurant a total make-over.
