Farm days

I was pleasantly surprised when I went to visit the Amelia Trust farm just the other week. I hadn't been to the site and when I found myself at a loose end I went to see what all the fuss is over.

It was quite a nice day out. I took a friend and we wandered around the farm for a few hours. It was so hard to imagine we were just a few miles away from a busy city. I didn't appreciate before now just how important a community farm is. Children might not get the chance to see a working farm if they live in towns and cities. This place is great and we should all make sure it stays open.
