Music a joy

ON JUNE 24, 2002, there was a concert at Salem Baptist called Celebration of Youth. It was given by teenagers from all the comprehensive schools in the Vale from Cowbridge, Barry to Penarth.

It was fantastic - it must have been a lot of hard work for the pupils who took part and of the organiser who put it all together, Mr David Short, head of music at St Richard Gwyn School. Thank you very much to all the teachers who helped train them.

After all people say about the youth of today! I think they are not always right as some of the older people are just as bad.

After all they are supposed to learn from their elders. Looking forward to next year's concert.
