Tip ban

How to encourage people to fly tip. I recently made a trip to the council tip and was shocked by what I was told. It seems that the council, in its wisdom, has now decided that only the well-off who can afford the luxury of owning a car, can be allowed to dispose of their rubbish at the tip.

I am a pensioner, and after walking along Hayes road with two large heavy bags of rubbish,

I was greeted at the gate and promptly told that I could not enter the tip on foot, only by car.

I was then turned away. What difference could it possibly make whether I enter on foot or by car?

Well, this is yet another ludicrous idea. Ten out of ten to the council for this one! So, not only have they moved the tip further out of our reach, they have now put a limit on who can use it. What will they introduce next, a dress code perhaps?
