Netballers win Howells trophy

Young Barry netballers have been celebrating another competition win with a nail-biting 7-6 victory in the final of the St Francis Netball Tournament.

St Helen's Junior School netball team beat St Patrick's, Grangetown, to win the Howells Garage Trophy at the Ely junior school event in Cardiff.

The Barry champions, who beat four other teams to reach the final, were Captain Kelly Bates, Sophie Howell, Lauren Dutton, Lauren Rothery, Jodie Chick, Helen Saunders and (not pictured) Natalie Cordy and Faye Morrison
