YOUNG GIRLS in the Vale of Glamorgan are being encouraged to participate in the fastest growing sport in the country.
Free rugby training sessions for girls aged 10 to 13 are being offered at three of the area's clubs, and a spokesman for the Vale of Glamorgan Council Sports Development Unit said: "Girls rugby is fun and enjoyable and everyone is invited."
The sessions are being offered at the following venues:
Cowbridge Middle School, Mondays, 4.45pm to 6.15pm.
Barry Rugby Club, Tuesdays, 4.30pm to 6pm.
Llantwit Major Rugby Club, Wednesdays, 4.30pm to 6pm.
