Great idea

IT'S GREAT to see that our town council are supporting and promoting music events at Barry Island. This bank holiday (even though mostly grey) was not without any surprises.

We had friendly punk rockers singing, Christians preaching, clowns performing and a big wheeled 'monster truck' with DJ's attached to the back.

It is about time we catered for all age groups once in a while, instead of focusing more on brass bands.

After all, the teenagers are the ones who spend most of the money at our resort. I was also surprised to find out that this event was 'self funded' and didn't cost the taxpayer a penny. Let's see more of this please.
