COORS Brewers have announced that they have just signed a new and extended partnership agreement with Barry Town FC.
This agreement, signed by Barry Town's Chief Executive Kevin Green and Coors Regional Director Brian Mills, joins both parties for a new and enhanced five year period.
Coors have been involved with the football club for many years. Proud sponsors and supporters of the club, Coors have been impressed and delighted with the success that Barry Town has had over that period, on the pitch, of course, but also with its thriving social club.
It's a tribute to the management and coaching staff that the club has been so successful for so long, culminating this season with winning the League of Wales title for the sixth time in the last seven years, and completing the double by winning the Welsh Cup again.
Indeed, Barry Town has been the dominant force in the League of Wales since the inception of the league. In fact Barry was the last team to win the Welsh Cup in 1994 when it was sponsored by the company as the "Allbright Bitter Welsh Cup" when they famously defeated Cardiff City at the old Cardiff Arms Park.
Mr Mills said: "We will work with the club off the field with marketing and promotional activities so as to enjoy mutual benefits."
Coors is proud to claim they are "Welsh Sport's Biggest Supporter", and point to their long and happy involvement with Barry Town as a prime example of this.
