WHEN besotted teenager Berke (Ben Foster) is dumped by childhood sweetheart Allison (Melissa Sagemiller) he thinks it's the end of the world.
And so starts Get Over It (12) which sees Berke fighting to win back Allison from new beau and boy band wannabe Striker (Shane West).
But things do not go to plan, as the plot - loosely based on A Midsummer Night's Dream - thickens and Berke gets obsessed with retrieving his love.
When he finds out that Allison has auditioned for the school production of (wait for it!) A Midsummer Night's Dream, he decides to go for it too.
Allison lands the part of Hermia, while Berke and Striker get the duelling Helena-lovers Lysander and Demetrius.
And so, in a twist of Shakespeare's classic, things all get a bit hazy as punches fly, hearts unite and brothers get annoyed.
This is a funny, simple film, which puts a spin on Shakespeare in a modern way. Definitely worth watching, but probably not a great revision aid for Shakespeare studies.
