I WISH to reply to Robert Berttin's comments on Plaid Cymru - The Party of Wales.
If Plaid are not a threat to his party and are in a state of disarray and demise as he suggests, then why, in a recent Vale Council by-election, did Plaid achieve over 49 percent of the total votes cast.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, Robert, but Plaid Cymru - The Party of Wales is a growing party and holds on to socialist beliefs, unlike our "New" Labour counterparts.
Welsh Labour do not dominate the Welsh political scene as he implies, as they have no overall control of the National Assembly for Wales, in which they have to rely very heavily on the Liberal Democrats for support.
Welsh Labour have more Members of Parliament in Wales, but this only compounds the fact that their orders come from Westminster to the rest of the party in Wales, similar to other main stream parties.
We in Plaid believe that the thoughts of the people of Wales, regardless of their ethnic origin, culture, background or language should have a voice. In Plaid Cymru - The Party of Wales, you have that voice.
