Plaid logic

TO read letters from Plaid supporters you'd think they were extras in Braveheart, not middle-class professionals.

Do they seriously believe a TV producer, born in Gwynedd, educated in Aberystwyth and living in Pontcanna, is being oppressed by a cleaner from Bradford?

The English are our neighbours, not our enemies. Every attack on them damages our tourism industry, and worse, our self confidence.

I am proud to be Welsh and to welcome all visitors to our beautiful country.

In the same breath as demanding full national status (independence), Plaid also demand more money from the UK Treasury.

In other words, English taxpayers aren't welcome here, but they should still pay taxes for us.

Nationalists use the logic of Kevin the Teenager.

Perhaps they should change their name once again, this time to Plaid Cymru - the It's So Unfair Party.
