Going mad?

WHAT is happening to Barry lately? Has the council gone completely mad?

Improvements have been carried out to Barry Road by resurfacing it as far as Jenner Park and a large section of Cardiff Road has also been resurfaced, both have become a pleasure to ride on.

Even work on the reopening of the old parish road from Coldbrook to the Port Road has begun, with undergrowth cleared; an entrance stile erected and a pathway laid, covered with chippings. But like many council projects it has not been finished and goes nowhere.

Congratulations to the departments responsible for the road improvements. Now for a start on the large litter bins (formerly known as the fountains) on King Square.
